REBOL 3.0 Alpha Public Release!

A huge announcement was made today by Carl Sassenrath of REBOL Technologies. The much anticipated REBOL 3.0 has been released in Alpha form for the public. Read the announcement by Carl.

If you want to get right to it, go straight to the new REBOL 3.0 home page at http://www.rebol.net/wiki/REBOL_3

This is very cool news! If you haven’t checked out REBOL you really should. It is a nice language and with REBOL 3.0 it is getting even better. If it wasn’t for my current goal of contributing to AROS, I would be programming in REBOL right now. I’m really glad to see the alpha version released.

On my way

Well, I had a vacation during the holidays and spent a lot of time with the family. I have played around with Zune a bit more. I plan to work harder at it. But I have mainly been reading my C book to get a better handle on it. Obviously all the Zune code is in C, so the more I learn the better. But I have started playing around with apps in AROS. Mainly changing bits and pieces to see what happens. Hacking at it really. I have been sick lately and that has really slowed me down. I haven’t been able to sit at the computer for long because I’ve felt like crap. I’m not totally 100% again. I wanted to post something though to keep this baby rolling and give an update.
